>> Obtaining Mobile Permissions

The app requests minimal iOS permissions:

• Audio Session Access: Permission to play metronome sounds through your device’s speakers or headphones
• Background Audio (Optional): Permission to continue playing metronome sounds when the app is minimized

The app does NOT request access to:

• Microphone or recording capabilities

None. Roundabeat Metronome does not use any third-party SDKs for analytics, statistics, or data collection. The app is built using only standard iOS frameworks for audio playback and user interface.

Use of Data

Roundabeat Metronome stores data locally on your device to:

• Remember your preferred tempo (BPM) settings
• Save your chosen time signature preferences
• Maintain your selected metronome sound
• Preserve visual preference settings (such as first beat highlighting)

This data is stored using iOS UserDefaults and never leaves your device.

GDPR Compliance

Since we do not collect, process, or store any personal data, GDPR compliance requirements do not apply to our data handling practices. All app preferences are stored locally on your device under your control.

App preferences are retained locally on your device until you delete the app or manually reset the settings. We do not retain any data on external servers.
